Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. Blue Light always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. We can explain and suggest any options to start your journey towards restoring your smile.
Do I need a crown or veneer?
Veneers and crowns are similar in that they can be made from porcelain or ceramic and can be colour matched to your own teeth. However, a veneer is a very thin layer which is bonded to the front of your tooth, whereas a crown covers the entire tooth. You may need a crown because of the amount of damage or discolouration. Blue Light can advise you on the right course of action for your bespoke needs.
What is Invisalign treatment?
Blue Light Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth in 4-6 months. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces. Your Invisalign clear aligners are designed to apply the right amount of force to the right place at the right time based on your plan bespoke Blue Light plan. The clear aligners are virtually invisible and people may not even notice you’re wearing them. You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or for special occasions.
What are all-on-4 & all-on-6 implants?
All on 4 and All on 6 dental implants treatments work by having 4 or 6 implants embedded into the bone of the jaw. The titanium metal posts will be the new roots for your teeth which will be fixed onto them. This treatment addresses a problem for anyone who has multiple missing teeth and can address the problem in just one day by replacing upper and lower arch teeth. Replacement is accomplished with a fixed bridge attached to your dental implants.

Does Composite Bonding Hurt?

Our composite bonding starts from £195-£350 for Composite (tooth-coloured mercury-free) dental restorations and for Cosmetic composite bonding on front teeth start from £350 per tooth. For our SmileFast & Avente Garde premium technology costs between £1800-£2500 and we also have interest free payment plans available.
Can Composite Bonding Cover Gaps?
Bonding can be used to cover gaps between teeth but in a similar way to dental veneers, our team will need to assess suitability. If your gap is too large, we may suggest either orthodontic braces or dental implants.
How Long Does Composite Bonding Last?
This will depend on your overall level of dental hygiene and other lifestyle factors, such as smoking. Similar to white fillings, bonding procedures have an average lifespan of between 3- 10 years. Our team will always ensure that these composite coverings are intact during routine check-ups, and will aim to replace them if they aren’t. Simple!
